To participate in the Google Shopping Actions program, your shop and products must meet some criteria, depending on the country in which you want to participate. Indeed, you do not need to configure and export a new product feed, Google Shopping Actions uses the one you have already exported on Google Merchant Center for your classical Shopping ads. However, it's important to note that certain products and services are not supported for promotion or sale in Shopping Actions and that for certain product categories, policies to show on Shopping Actions are different than they do to show on Shopping ads. If you are eligible, you must then follow the procedure for integrating Shopping Actions into your Merchant Center account (different depending on the country). Once you’ve finished all required set-up steps, you will have to request final validation from Google to be able to publish your storefront. Your product data will then be subjected to the Shopping Actions data quality tests (country-specific).
After you request validation for your storefront, you’ll receive an email from Google after a few days, letting you know it’s time to publish your store or any changes you need to make first before you launch.
As soon as you receive Google's authorization to publish your storefront, contact us (before publishing your storefront) so that we can guide you in connecting your shop with the Google API. Once a few tests have been performed on your shop, you will be able to publish your storefront and start receiving Google Shopping Actions orders directly in your back office.
Note: the publication of your storefront on Shopping Actions can take up to 24 hours.
