How to protect my customers' personal data (GDPR option)?

Respect your customers' personal data by enabling automatic anonymization of sensitive information (emails, names, phone numbers,...) when transferring data to AI models.

The AI will only receive technical data required for its operation, such as identifiers (orders, customers) and context (geography).

To do this, go to the "GDPR / Privacy" tab and enable the GDPR protection option:

This option is particularly important if you use public AI services like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude etc... These services process data on external servers (often based outside Europe, such as in the United States). Enabling the option is crucial to guarantee your customers' privacy and prevent their data from being used to train models.

If, on the other hand, you use a local AI (Ollama, LocalAI...), then this option becomes optional. Indeed, the data arrives on your own server and does not leave your premises. You can therefore disable anonymization so that the AI benefits from the full customer context.
