What is the option to allow ad personalization?
Allow ad personalization controls whether conversion signals may be used for personalized advertising.
Find it under Conversion tracking > Advanced settings. It is disabled by default. When disabled, the module asks Google not to use events for ad personalization through allow_ad_personalization_signals.
Enabling it does not obtain visitor consent or automatically create a remarketing campaign or list. Personalization remains subject to consent choices, including ad_personalization, and Google settings.
Note: Before enabling the option, give users clear and complete information about collected data and obtain any consent required for its collection, sharing and use for ad personalization. Without the required consent, leave it disabled. See the consent FAQ.
If another module already handles remarketing, coordinate the settings. This option does not deduplicate conversions; event and transaction ID checks are separate. See conversion discrepancies.
