The MCP Tools Plus module transforms your PrestaShop store into a source of structured and actionable data for AI agents (via the MCP protocol). Connected to an AI and associated with PrestaShop's MCP Server module, it allows you to control the store in natural language to perform various tasks: get detailed sales reports, monitor stockouts, audit SEO configuration, manage customer service messages, or even create promotions. It's a real "bridge" that gives your AI assistant the superpowers needed to analyze and act on your business in real time.
The module adds "business" tools to the list of essential tools available in PrestaShop's MCP Server module. These business tools are classified into two distinct categories:
- "Standalone" tools: These are the basic tools that work directly with PrestaShop's native data (Orders, Catalog, Customers, Carriers, CMS). They are operational immediately after module installation because they do not depend on any third-party software.
- "Module" tools: These are specialized tools that only activate if you have certain complementary modules (e.g., Advanced Pack, GEO Suite, Google Merchant Center, ...). They allow the AI to access richer data and control expert functionalities specific to these third-party modules.
The module also offers an option to anonymize your customers' data (first name, last name, email address, phone number,...) before sending it to AI models. This allows you to comply with GDPR, especially if you use public AI services.
