What are the Google's requirements for product description?
Describe the product itself with useful information matching its page: features, material, use and distinguishing details. Avoid promotional text, shipping information, commercial links and generic content unrelated to the item.
Under Feed management → Feed data options, choose short description, long description, both or meta-description. Check each language: a meta-description may be too brief, while combining both descriptions can introduce repetition.
Google limits description to 5,000 characters. Review the description actually exported in the XML and place important information first so that it is retained if the text is shortened.
If XML is invalid, look for prohibited control characters or incorrectly encoded content. Accents and other valid Unicode characters are not inherently errors. Correct the source data and regenerate; do not indiscriminately remove all special characters.
