Why does Google give me the error "You do not have permission to access this document"?
The message “Forbidden — You do not have permission to access this document” means access to a resource was refused. This message alone does not establish that your host blocks the word “Google” in a URL.
Before requesting a configuration change, note:
- the step of the flow where the error appears;
- the hostname and path of the affected page, after removing confidential parameters;
- the test date and time, provider used, and module, PHP and PrestaShop versions.
If the refusal appears on your shop or proxy domain, ask your host to locate the corresponding event in its logs and check for a security rule. Do not have a general protection disabled without identifying the cause.
If the refusal comes from a Google page, check the app, its access and settings using the Google procedure, then provide support with the precise message if needed.
Do not share URLs containing an authorization code, token or secret. Support needs to distinguish the origin of the refusal before suggesting a correction.
