What is the difference between attribute and feature in PrestaShop?

When you create a product in your back office, you can associate some features to it (for example its height, weight, compositions, ...). You can also use attributs in order to build combinations like many size or color variants.

The product features, and their values associated, are defined in the "Product Features" tab of the "Catalog" section, as the following example is showing :

You can create as many features as you want and associate as many values as you want. Then, for each product you will associate the correct value for each feature. As a reminder, these feature values will be the same for all combinations of a single product (for example, a tee-shirt composition remains the same whatever the color of it).

Product attributes, and their values associated, are defined in the "Product Attributes" tab of the "Catalog" section, as the following example is showing :

You can create as many attributes as you want and associate as many values as you want. Attributes will allow you to build your product combinations (for example a tee-shirt can be offered in several sizes, colors, etc...).
