How is my site's data markup used by Google?
Google can read structured data on your pages and use extractors to check product information. When automatic updates are enabled, these can temporarily correct some price, availability or condition mismatches between a source and the landing page.
In Merchant Center, check these choices under Products → Automations. Supported markup can use JSON-LD or microdata; it must match the visible offer and selected variant.
These updates do not replace a regular, accurate data source. Continue generating and fetching feeds. Google does not guarantee a fixed crawl schedule for every page; frequent changes can remain out of sync until processed.
The Found by Google source, which can add products from the site, is a different mechanism. See how to manage it. For incorrect structured data, see warnings and markup diagnostics; for price mismatches, see the complete comparison.
