What is the product GTIN code for?
A GTIN is an identifier assigned to a traded product, such as an EAN or UPC. Google accepts GTIN-8, GTIN-12, GTIN-13 and GTIN-14 formats under its specification. This does not mean every format fits every PrestaShop field or is exported by every module version.
Populate native EAN-13/JAN or UPC fields for the product and each combination where appropriate. In feed options, choose which identifier to check first. Then inspect the XML gtin value.
Use the identifier actually assigned to that product or variant. Do not invent GTINs or substitute your internal reference. Obtain it from the manufacturer or supplier. Requirements depend in particular on whether a GTIN was assigned; missing data cannot be resolved through a general two-out-of-three rule.
Excluding products without EAN/UPC is an export choice that must suit the products involved. For products without assigned identifiers, see identifier_exists, together with brand and MPN.
