What is the Facebook "Advanced Matching" feature?
Advanced matching uses available customer information to help Meta match events to a person. It can supplement event data; it does not guarantee a larger audience, complete attribution or lower cost per conversion.
It can use information such as the customer’s email address, first name or last name when available. The use of this information must remain consistent with the visitor’s consent choices.
- Open Facebook Pixel → Pixel code and enable advanced matching if this processing fits your configuration.
- Save and reload. The module setting is separate from automatic matching configured in Meta.
- Using an authorized test account, inspect the data actually prepared, events, consent and reception. Never include real customer data in a screenshot.
See Pixel testing and Conversions API. Any matching improvement must be measured from observed results; enabling the setting alone does not establish a gain.
