Do I have to ask the module to include the attribute IDs into combination URLs?
This option primarily concerns older PrestaShop 1.6 shops exporting each combination separately. It deals with historical URL construction, not the item's g:id in the feed.
Before changing this setting, copy the exact XML link and check that the public page displays the correct variant and price.
On an older shop, have your integrator compare the generated link with the theme's variant link before changing attribute-ID inclusion. After any change, regenerate the feed and retest several combinations.
