How to configure my product ratings feed ?

The reviews feed submits product reviews already collected in your shop. It is separate from Google Customer Reviews, which offers a survey after a purchase.

Requirements

To apply for Product Ratings, you need an active Merchant Center account and at least 50 reviews across all your products. Google reviews your application and data quality without guaranteeing an acceptance time. Follow the official product reviews submission procedure.

Aggregated ratings can combine multiple sources. Display and the number of reviews required for a particular offer depend on Google; the 50-review participation requirement does not guarantee stars will appear.

Supported sources

Reviews must come from PrestaShop’s native Product Comments module or Shop Product Reviews. When both are available, the module prioritizes Shop Product Reviews. Check product identifiers, especially GTINs, so reviews can be matched to the correct offers.

  1. Under Special offers / inventory / product ratings feeds → Product ratings, check the source and save the settings.
  2. Under My feeds → Product ratings feed, open the URL for the required language and check the XML: products, review text, dates and ratings. Generate a physical file before Google retrieves it if using that method.
  3. After admission to the program, open Settings → Data sources → Product review sources in Merchant Center and add the file or URL using your account’s available options.
  4. Schedule regular updates and monitor processing and diagnostics.
