Google Customer Reviews: What is the Google Customer Reviews program?

Google Customer Reviews is a free program through which Google collects feedback after customers purchase from your website. An opt-in on the order-confirmation page lets customers accept or decline the survey.

Google may then send a survey to customers who accepted, based on its criteria and the estimated delivery date submitted. Neither an invitation to every customer nor rating display is guaranteed. The reference of around 100 eligible reviews must be considered alongside program country and time-period requirements.

In Merchant Center, activate the program under Settings → Add-ons → Google Customer Reviews if available to your account, then follow module configuration.

Google is upgrading its legacy badge to a store widget. The module requires its badge to be enabled to load the opt-in. This dependency belongs to the module; Google’s widget is optional.
